STATS/PERMISSIONS
CHARACTER NAME: Yuuichi Otogane
CHARACTER SERIES: Original character! His PB is Kaito, from Vocaloid.

Age: 5.
Eyes: Blue. Also, there's something oddly flat about them— they don't reflect the light in quite the same way eyes normally do.
Hair: BRIGHT blue. It doesn't look quite natural, and is a little bit slicker than normal hair would be; that'd be because it's actually photovoltaic fiber. (His scarf is made of the same material and plugs in at the back of his neck. solar powerrrrrrr 'w')
Height: 178 cm, or 5'10"
Weight: Classified 'u' But he's much heavier than he looks.
Medical Info/Physical Traits: Ridiculously human robot here! He's not completely indistinguishable, however; his eyes and hair are noticeably artificial if you squint, he doesn't have a scent, etc. He doesn't have anything in the way of blood, although he's capable of mimicking flushing and does have other body fluids, such as tears. However, he wouldn't quite ping as anything living, with a caveat; if you can sense souls he's got a tiiiny bit of a very nebulous something there???
He's built like a reasonably fit human, although not overly muscled; he's definitely got more of a graceful dancer's frame than a linebacker's. He has a few realistic looking scars from minor injuries, a few moles, and most notably a tattoo of a blue heart made from an upside-down treble clef and a bass clef about an inch in size on the left side of his chest, a few inches underneath his collarbone. EDIT: LOL I FORGOT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING. Yuuichi doesn't really do facial expressions! If you're observant you'll notice barely there eyebrow twitches and sometimes he'll widen/narrow his eyes a fraction, but overall he shies away from anything that isn't extremely subtle. His body language is a little bit more expressive, but he keeps it dampened too just because lineface combined with exuberant emoting via body language usually ends up just as off-putting as when he tries full-blown facial expressions.
Voice/Speech Patterns: His voice is lowish without going into EXTREME BASS territory, with an electronic/synth undertone that is more obvious on vowels. If you listen to him long enough and are particularly observant, you can tell that his speech is patched together from the same recorded phonemes, just pitched up or down as inflection requires. This is a fairly good example of how that works; Yuuichi sounds a lot like Kaito (the blue-haired guy with the scarf that I am also using as a PB), albeit a little smoother since his software is geared toward both singing and speaking. It still has that slightly sing-song quality, though.
As far as inflection goes, he does use it, he's not completely monotone; however, his tone of voice is essentially "stuck" at neutral/conversational, regardless of the topic or how he's actually feeling. Instead, he hums or chirps during breaks in conversation or while he's thinking; these are all preset note sequences that have been tagged with various emotions and play when appropriate. (A lot of them are video game music. If he likes you, you're likely to the hear the FF victory fanfare at least once.)
What's okay to mention around him: Just about anything! He won't be shy if he doesn't want to talk about something.
Abilities: Nothing hugely superhuman; he's about as strong as your average fit dude, if a little slower. He does learn incredibly quickly when it comes to non-abstract concepts/have a photographic memory, and he's an advanced programmer. He's also capable of hooking himself up to computers and interfacing with them.
Notes for the Psychics/Empaths: Robot! If you want to handwave that they'd be able to somehow read his mind anyway, it's a little complicated; his mental processes are different from a human in that he often has several layers of decisionmaking trees being worked through at any given moment, as well as multitasking different trains of thought. The overall impression would be more like trying to read a tangled hivemind than a single individual. (THIS MAY GET BETTER/EASIER IF HE EVER REDOES HIS PROGRAMMING, he is way overdue to rewrite how certain things work...)
Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: SURE although the last couple will earn you a grudge into forever and possibly pranks/retaliation when you least expect it.
Hugging/Kissing/Other non-violent physical contact: Okay! ('∀')
(...he'll get a little flustered over more intimate stuff— partially because he's kind of a dumb kid and partially because he thinks organic stuff is messy and kind of weird '-')
Maim/Murder/Death: Poke me first...? I'D RATHER AVOID, Yuuichi's pretty inoffensive.
Cooking: In theory, he'd be excellent, since he can follow a set recipe! In practice... well. Nothing tastes "good" or "bad" to him, so he doesn't really know how to correct things to make sure they taste good to people. OOPS.
